CR Robin 79
CR Nightwing 79
CR Robin 35 (Leader)
AA Robin 66
AA Question 37
AA Gotham City Detective 27
Total: 398
WIN/LOSS: 3-0
So this was a fun format. I sat down Monday afternoon and wasn't sure that I had a good figure that could be the Boss for my team. I've been playing alot of Justice League of America keyword as I love to use the CR Green Lantern and wanted to play that but I didn't have the proper boss (HT Vet Aquaman). So I looked at who had leadership and would qualify. I had this team built awhile back but never got to play it so I pulled it out and put it in my case to see how it did. Turns out, lots of stealth isn't a bad thing afterall.
First round I played Mark. Mark has been playing for a few months and was playing Gotham City keyword as well. He was playing Vet Icons Joker, AA Comm. Gordon (the Boss), AA Riddler, Batman Alpha Catwoman, and AA Hitman. I think he was under points as he had put a figure or two on there that weren't Gotham City keyword and he took them off. We played on the Crash Site map and that meant it was lots of stealth for both of us so no one would be shooting anyone. I got Catwoman early by putting Question and Batman on her. After that I managed to start attacking Riddler who masterminded to Hitman. Hitman fell and then Riddler started taking some damage too. At the end I got everyone but Joker and he got Question, Gotham City Detective, and AA Robin. 1-0
Second round I played Christian. This was Christian's first tournament. He was playing an Ultron team that one of the other players loaned him. His team was Ultron, Vet. Red Tornado, M-11, Phalanx Soldier, and one other Robot that I don't remember. He also had a Lian Harper and a few other pogs as Mastermind fodder. We played on the Crash Site map again. I started marching up the middle so that everyone was in stealth. He TK'ed out Ultron and put him right in the middle of my army. I took down Ultron pretty quickly after that. He managed to get Batman and CR Robin (not the boss) and I managed to get the rest of his team. 2-0
Last round I played Patrick. Patrick was playing HOT Captain America, 7 HOT Hand Ninjas, and a host of pogs. We played on the Bank map. I was very worried about the lack of Hindering on this map and the fact that what I could occupy could kill me pretty quick with the Hand Ninjas. Add onto that Cap shooting at will and it wasn't looking pretty. I took Nightwing, CR Robin (non boss), and AA Robin around the wall to try to corner cap. I managed to get him away from the Hand Ninjas. A critical point came after I surrounded Cap and he went to make a Break Away roll to running shot me and get away from me. He rolled and missed, used a them team prob to hit it, and I then used a theme team prob to put it to a miss. That was pretty big as it kept Cap there and I was able to get him down before he did too much damage. I managed to get Cap and several of the pogs. He managed to get CR Robin and Gotham City Detective I think. 3-0
We had a total of 14 players so while I went 3-0, I ended up in 2nd by about 9 points or so. Oh well. Anytime you go undefeated though I still consider it a good day.
